Personal: Holgate used her redshirt season last year for the Eagles. In 2004-05 as a senior for Snohomish County Christian High School, she averaged 24.7 points and had three triple-doubles. She led her team to the Seattle Lutheran tournament championship. In the title game, Holgate had 17 points, grabbed 20 rebounds, blocked 14 shots and had three assists for the tournament win. As a senior, Holgate was named the WIAA/Seattle Times player of the week for Class B. Three of her biggest efforts in 2004-05 happened in the same week. Holgate scored 16 points, nine rebounds and eight blocks in a 46-24 win over Lopez Island, 37 points in a 69-67 win over Concrete and 30 points and 17 rebounds in a 64-30 victory over Tulalip Heritage. In 2003-04 as a junior, she averaged 15 points, 11 rebounds and nine blocks per game. She ended the season with five triple-doubles and 11 double-doubles. As a junior, she was the MVP of the Washington All-State Game after scoring 14 points, 20 rebounds and blocking five shots. A member of the State B All-Tournament Team, Holgate was also selected as the tournament MVP at the Mid May Run and Battle in Seattle while playing for the Northwest Heat. She is the daughter of Jeffery and Jann Holgate.
