50 Selected to Winter All-Academic Team

A total of 50 Eastern Washington University student-athletes have been honored on the Big Sky Conference All-Academic team for winter quarter 2007. Of the total, five were from men's basketball, eight from women's basketball, 17 from men's indoor track and field and 20 from women's indoor track and field.
To qualify for the team, student-athletes must have at least a 3.20 accumulative grade point average and must also have participated in at least half of the team's competitions. For the fall quarter of 2006, 43 EWU student-athletes were honored for five sports: volleyball, soccer, football and men's and women's cross country. Last year, a total of 138 EWU student-athletes were honored in the 2005-06 school year. In the 2004-05 school year, 140 Eagle student-athletes were honored on Big Sky All-Academic teams.
