2010-11: Member of the Big Sky Conference All-Academic team. Finished either first or second on the squad in seven of nine events in the 2010-11 season. Averaged 80.9 strokes per round - the second-best on the team. Had her first-career top-10 finish at the Shocker Invitational, as she shot a two-round total of 152 (77-75) to tie for eighth on the individual leaderboard. Carbon’s 75 in the second round of the Shocker was a career-low for the sophomore. Turned in her best 54-hole performance in Eastern’s first outing of the year, carding a 236 (78-76-82) to finish 54th out of 107 competitors at the Circling Raven Collegiate Invitational (Sept. 13-14).

2009-10: Played 11 rounds for the Eagles as a freshman, finishing the year with an 84.2 stroke average. Carded a season-low 75 in the second round of the Big Sky Conference Championships, which marked the lowest single-round score for any Eagle during the entire 2009-10 campaign.

High School: Graduated from Thomas Jefferson HS in 2009. Carbon qualified for the WIAA 4A State Tournament each of her four years at TJHS. She placed in the top 20 at the district championships every year, with her best finish of fifth coming her senior season. In her junior and senior campaigns, Carbon was named first team All-4A South Puget Sound League, while she earned second team accolades her freshman and sophomore years. She was also a Washington Junior Golf Association state qualifier in 2009 and district qualifier the previous three years. Carbon also played softball with the Raiders, earning first team All-League honors the past two seasons. She was in the top 12 percent of her class academically with a 3.76 grade point average.

Personal: Daughter of J.P. and Karen Carbon. Majoring in health and fitness education.
