2011-12: As a rookie, Rice improved steadily as the season progressed, and ended up leading the Eagles in three of the final five events of 2011-12...Her best performance of the year came on the biggest stage, as she posted a career-low 233 (76-77-75) at the 2012 Big Sky Championship (April 22-24)...Not only was that score the best 54-hole effort by any Eagle during the season, but it was good enough to crack the top-20 on the individual leaderboard, as Rice finished 17th out 45 Big Sky golfers...She also led EWU at the Red Rocks Invitational (March 3-4), finishing the two-round tournament with a total score of 164 (81-83)...Two weeks prior at the Folino Inviational (Feb. 19-21), she finished second on the Eagle squad and 25th overall after firing rounds of 82, 82 and 74 at the Industry Hills Golf Club at Pacific Palm...Her third-round effort of 74 tied for the second-lowest round of the year by an Eagle.

High School: Four-year varsity letterwinner out of Nathan Hale High School in Seattle, Wash...As a senior, Rice shot a 149 (74-74) to win the 2010 Metro Golf Championship by 12 strokes...She competed in the WIAA State Championship for four-consecutive years, finishing in the top 10 in 2009, 2010 and 2011...During her junior campaign, Rice shot 74-78 to finish fifth overall at the state championships...She was named to the all-state team in 2009 and 2010, and is a four-time all-metro first team selection...Rice also played in the 2010 Washington State Junior Golf Association championships, where she tied for third after carding a three-round total of 238 (86-74-78)...In 2010, she qualified for the Pacific Northwest Golf Association Junior Girls Championship with a score of 73...She advanced to the semifinals in the match play portion of the prestigious tournament.

Personal: Daughter of Ryan and Patrice Brady...Plans to major in biology at Eastern.
