High School: Following the 2008-09 season, Jones earned first team All-Grossmont South League accolades. That season, she helped the team to the Division I California Interscholastic Federation (CIF) San Diego Section quarterfinals. She started her final three years at GHHS and also helped the team to the Section final as a sophomore. Her junior and senior seasons, she was named to the CIF All-Academic team. In addition to scoring 31 career goals, she also was named first team All-League in cross country. She is the daughter of Eaton and Vivian Jones.
