2008: Brannan scored one of the most exciting goals in EWU history when she toe-poked a loose ball in the box past the goalkeeper and into the net to push the Eagles past Montana in an overtime thriller, 3-2, in the final game of the 2008 season. She had entered the contest just 16 seconds earlier, and the score was the first of her career. In a 1-0 win over Idaho earlier in the season, Brannan had a beautiful assist, as her high pass caught Lauryn Koelzer one-on-one with the goalkeeper before she dribbled around her opponent and slotted the ball home. Brannan also performed well in the classroom and earned Big Sky All-Academic team honors for her cumulative efforts.

High School: She led the Columbia Basin League in goals (15) and assists (8) as a senior. She was honored on the league’s first team and was Kamiakin’s Most Valuable Player that year. Her junior year, she was named second team All-CBL. Brannan also played with the 3 Rivers SC. Her parents are Patrick and Darla Brannan, and she is majoring in recreation and leisure management.
