2009: Played in all 18 games for EWU, earning 11 starts in the midfield. Scored Eastern’s first goal of the season when she converted on a penalty kick against McNeese State (Aug. 29). Recorded her first career assist in the game versus UC-Davis (Sept. 13), when she sent a pass into teammate Brittany Sparks, who slotted home Eastern’s one goal of the contest. Finished the year with 20 total shots, including three against conference-foe Northern Colorado, two of which were on frame. Named to the Big Sky All-Academic team for the second-straight year.

2008: Following an impressive season on and off the field, Fausko earned Big Sky Conference All-Academic accolades. Late in the campaign, she was especially disruptive to opposing defenses, as she had 13 of her 15 shots of 2008 in the final three games of the season, including four of her six shots on goal that year.

High School: Fausko was a three-year varsity letterwinner at Auburn Mountainview High School in Auburn, Wash., and was named All-South Puget Sound League 3A in 2006 and in 2007. Fausko is the all-time leading scorer for her high school team and was named Offensive Player of the Year in 2006 and 2007. She was the school’s Athlete of the Year and Heisman Award winner her final year there. In 2006, Fausko helped her team to the Sweet 16 of the state tournament. She also earned a letter as a freshman on the Auburn Senior High School squad. In addition, Fausko won a U18 state championship with MRFC Santos and helped that team to a No. 7 national ranking.
