2010: After contributing solid minutes off the bench in 10 of the first 11 games of the season, Kitsman earned a starting nod in five of the final six games of the year. She scored the game-winning goal for Eastern on a powerful 45-yard free kick against Weber State on Oct. 17. Tallied 11 total shots during her junior campaign, eight of which were in Big Sky Conference action.
2009: As a sophomore with the Eagle soccer program, Kitsman saw action in nine games. Scored her first collegiate goal against South Dakota (Sept. 17), when she sent a header ball to the back of the net off a corner kick from teammate Hannah Kreminski. Contributed solid minutes in Eastern’s road game at Weber State, winning four balls in the air to give the team a boost before the end of the half. Eastern went on to beat the Wildcats in Ogden for the first time in school history.
2008: Kitsman appeared in three games for Eastern Washington her initial year on campus. Her latter efforts helped the Eagles to an impressive 1-0 win over Northern Colorado on Oct. 26. She also took part in the Northern Arizona game two days earlier and in the annual rivalry contest with Gonzaga on Sept. 28.
High School: Kitsman was a four-year varsity letterwinner out of Ponderosa High School. All four years, her team won the Sierra Valley Conference championship. In 2006, 2007 and 2008, Kitsman was honored as a All-Sierra Valley Conference First Team member. In 2007, she was named All-Metro Second Team by The Sacramento Bee before earning First-Team honors in 2008. In 2006, Kitsman was named the school’s Most Valuable Player. She also played for the California Rush Soccer Club.
