Dale Silha on Liening: "Judy is a really warm and genuine person. She works hard on the court and never complains. Judy is a great inspiration to her teammates and we are excited about what she can do this season."
2008-09: Liening started the 2009 season 10-6, but dropped her last seven matches to finish the year 10-13 in singles competition. Still, Liening's 10 wins were the most by any Eagles player in 2008-09 along with Rachel Berger, who also finished with 10 wins. Liening and Berger teamed up for eight doubles wins on the season as well.
2007-08: Liening saw action in four matches in 2008. She played both singles and doubles against No. 67 Utah on Feb. 11, as well as versus Lewis-Clark State on April 19. In the latter contest, she claimed a 6-2, 6-2 singles victory and, teamed with Rachel Berger, a 9-7 doubles win. She also earned a 6-4, 6-2 singles win on March 2 against a Lewis-Clark State opponent.
