Eagles Sweep Portland State 7-0

The Eastern Washington University women's tennis team defeated the Portland State Vikings 7-0 Friday (Jan. 22) at the St. John's Racquet Center in Portland, Ore.

The match was the first Big Sky Conference match-up for both squads. With the win, Eastern improves to 3-0 on the season while the Vikings fall to 0-1.

The Eagles have yet to lose a point through three matches this season, as they have swept their first three matches of the season.

Eastern will play Portland in Eugene, Ore., Saturday (Jan. 23) at 10 a.m. before meeting with Oregon on Sunday (Jan. 24). Oregon is currently ranked No. 71 in the nation.
