Eagles Fall 7-0 To No. 71 Oregon
The Eastern Washington University women's tennis team dropped its second match in a row, falling 7-0 Sunday (Jan. 24) to the Oregon Ducks at the Student Tennis Center in Eugene, Ore.
Freshman Kelsey Knight forced a third set against Emmanuelle Cor after winning 6-3 in the second set, but ended up dropping the set 10-7.
The doubles tandem of Caitlin Bampton and Chelsea Patton were able to pick up a 8-6 victory, extending their record to 4-1 on the season.
The Eagles are next in action at Washington State on Friday (Jan. 29), with match time set for 4:30 p.m.
