2011-12: Playing primarly at No. 6, Norena earned a 3-7 singles record throughout her junior campaign. She had the best weekend of her career in a trip to Oregon, where she recorded three-consecutive wins. Norena opened the weekend with an exciting conference win over Portland State, as she managed to outlast her opponent in three sets, 2-6, 6-1, 1-0 (10-2). She also won her doubles matchup against the Vikings, earning an 8-5 decision with partner Ryann Warner. The following day, she defeated Portland's Gabrielle Gorence, 6-0, 6-3, and then ended her trip with a dominant 6-2, 6-2 victory against Pac-12 school Oregon. She recorded three doubles wins on the year, including two in Big Sky Conference play.

2010-11: Member of the Big Sky All-Academic team. Earned her first letter for EWU after posting a 4-8 singles record and 1-9 mark in doubles play. She went 2-2 in Big Sky Conference action, with noteworthy wins over Montana State and Portland State. She helped EWU capture the doubles point and eventually the match against Idaho State when she and partner Helon Ricks beat ISU’s Laura Severino and Zamira Vasquez at No. 3.

2009-10: Did not see any action during the 2009-10 season, but contributed to the program as a strong practice player.

Personal: Daughter of Ricardo Norena and Almudena Alcala-Galiano. Majoring in business management.
