2008: Coviare had an outstanding 2008 campaign and was rewarded for her efforts with second team All-Big Sky Conference honors. She finished the season ranked 112th among NCAA Division I players, and fourth in the Big Sky, in blocks per set (1.04). The sophomore also placed 10th in the league in hitting percentage (.241, 224-97-528). She was an especially intimidating presence down the stretch, averaging 1.22 blocks per set over the final 14 matches. Three times in 2008, she combined 10+ kills with hitting percentages greater than .400. Her best offensive showing came in a four-set win over Montana, as she hit .476 (13-3-21) in that contest. Coviare recorded double-digit kill totals 11 times in 2008. She also had seven blocks in a match on three separate occasions.

2007: Coviare had the offensive match of the year for the Eagles, hitting .750 (17-2-20) in the team’s 3-2 win over Colgate on Aug. 31. She was literally perfect the final three sets, hitting 1.000 in those stanzas (8-0-8). Coviare also had an outstanding showing versus Northern Arizona on Nov. 1, as she hit at a .526 clip (12-2-19). In fact, Coviare had four of the five best hitting percentages recorded by an Eagle in 2007. Her block total of 10 in a dramatic 3-2 win over Northern Colorado on Nov. 3 tied for the second-highest total of the year by an Eastern player. For the season, Coviare led EWU with 1.04 blocks per set. It was also the 241st-highest average among NCAA Division I players.

2006: Redshirted.

High School: Coviare was one of 28 players selected in July 2005 by the Columbia Empire Volleyball Association to represent its team in the Junior Global Challenge. Coviare was twice named second team All-Southern Oregon Conference. Her junior year, the team qualified for the state playoffs for just the third time in school history. She also played with the Southern Oregon Volleyball Club. Her parents are Jastereo and Azelie Coviare. She is majoring in communication studies with an emphasis on public relations.
