EWU Volleyball Adds One More to 2010 Roster
The Eastern Washington volleyball program is pleased to announce the signing of Esther Warren, a 5-foot-10 outside hitter from Fort Worth, Texas. Warren, who graduated from Richland High School in May, joins four others as part of the talented 2010 recruiting class.

Puckett Recognized With Volleyball Emtman Award
Freshman Shelby Puckett of the Eastern Washington University volleyball team was recently selected as the recipient of the 2010 Emtman award. This honor, administered by EWU head strength and conditioning coach Jeff Carroll, recognizes one volleyball student-athlete who exhibits strong work ethic, perseverance, character and a team-first attitude.

Eastern Volleyball Signs JC Middle Blocker
Chenoa Rossi-Childress, a 6-foot-1 middle blocker from Feather River College, has signed a letter of intent to attend Eastern Washington University next fall and play volleyball for head coach Miles Kydd.

52 Selected to Fall All-Academic Team
A total of 52 Eastern Washington University student-athletes have been honored on the Big Sky Conference All-Academic team for fall quarter 2009. Of the total, 20 were from football, 11 from volleyball, seven from women's soccer, seven from women's cross country and five from men's cross country.

Comeback Falls Short for Eastern as Season Ends
The Eastern Washington University volleyball team battled back from two sets down to force a fifth set but was unable to defeat the Northern Colorado Bears and fell 3-2 Friday (Nov. 27) night. With the win, the Bears advance to the Big Sky Conference Championship match Saturday (Nov 28) against the No. 1 seed Portland State Vikings beginning at 7 p.m. at Reese Court in Cheney, Wash.

Four players from the Eastern Washington University volleyball team have been named All-Big Sky Conference, the conference announced today. Senior Hayley Hills, junior Chenoa Coviare, senior Ashley Hamilton and junior Sara Todorovich all received accolades for their play on the court this season.
