High School: As a senior at Waterville High
School, Brown was named to the Associated Press 2B All-State second
team and was Co-MVP of the North Central League (NCL). She was
named first team All-NCL each of her final three years after
earning mention to the second team as a freshman. Her volleyball
and basketball teams each finished sixth at state her junior year,
and each squad also went undefeated in NCL play. Her senior year,
her volleyball team placed second in the league and advanced to the
second round of districts. Brown, who played her club volleyball
for the North Central Washington Volleyball Club, was selected to
participate in the 23rd Annual All-State Volleyball Series. In
basketball, Brown earned second team All-League accolades her
sophomore and junior seasons. She also competed for the track and
field team in the high jump, long jump and triple jump. Her parents
are Gary and Penny Brown and her sister, Jacque, is a junior with
the Eagles.
