Etched her name in the EWU record book in three separate categories; ranking fourth in single-season blocks (144), fifth in single-season blocks per set (1.35) and fifth in career blocks (367). Her 1.35 blocks per set average ranked 19th in the NCAA and second in the Big Sky Conference. In addition to her defensive prowess, Coviare was second on the team in kills (314) and total attack attempts (691), while ranking 10th in the conference in kills. She hit above .400 on five separate occasions during the 2009 season, with her best effort coming in a sweep of UNC (Oct. 13), where she recorded a .571 (13-1-21) hitting percentage. Had a career-high 12 blocks against Northern Arizona (Oct. 15), while also tallying 14 kills for her first of three double-doubles on the season. Those 12 blocks tied the most for any BSC player in a single game during the 2009 campaign. Led the Eagles in their final regular-season contest, recording 19 kills and 10 blocks, which helped EWU advance to BSC postseason tournament for the 14th-consecutive year.

and was rewarded for her efforts with second team All-Big Sky
Conference honors. She finished the season ranked 112th among NCAA
Division I players, and fourth in the Big Sky, in blocks per set
(1.04). The sophomore also placed 10th in the league in hitting
percentage (.241, 224-97-528). She was an especially intimidating
presence down the stretch, averaging 1.22 blocks per set over the
final 14 matches. Three times in 2008, she combined 10+ kills with
hitting percentages greater than .400. Her best offensive showing
came in a four-set win over Montana, as she hit .476 (13-3-21) in
that contest. Coviare recorded double-digit kill totals 11 times in

occasions.
2007: Coviare had the offensive match of the year
for the Eagles, hitting .750 (17-2-20) in the team’s 3-2 win
over Colgate on Aug. 31. She was literally perfect the final three
sets, hitting 1.000 in those stanzas (8-0-8). Coviare also had an
outstanding showing versus Northern Arizona on Nov. 1, as she hit
at a .526 clip (12-2-19). In fact, Coviare had four of the five
best hitting percentages recorded by an Eagle in 2007. Her block
total of 10 in a dramatic 3-2 win over Northern Colorado on Nov. 3
tied for the second-highest total of the year by an Eastern player.
