High School: Fermantez is a 2011 graduate of Kamehameha Schools-Kapalama in Honolulu, Hawaii - arguably the most successful high school volleyball program on the islands. The Warriors have captured the Hawaii High School Athletic Association Division I volleyball title for the last six-consecutive years. In Fermantez’s four-year career at Kamehameha, the Warriors have twice won the Interscholastic League of Honolulu regular-season title, while finishing second in 2009 and 2010. Fermantez was named to the Honolulu Star-Advertiser Fab 15 Team (All-State) in back-to-back years, and was a two-time All-ILH First-Team selection in 2009 and 2010. She played a major role in securing Kamehemeha’s most recent state title in 2010, as she was one of six elite players named to the HHSAA Division I All-Tournament team. She recorded more than 30 kills and 15 blocks throughout the championships, including nine kills and six blocks in the final game against archrival Punahou. For her performance in the championship match, Fermantez was selected as the Honolulu Star-Advertiser Athlete of the Week. Fermantez has also played on a variety of competitive club teams on Oahu, including the ASICS Rainbow Volleyball Club that captured the 2007 Junior Olympic National Championship in the 14s division. She has also won four Aloha Region titles and three national qualifiers while playing with the ASICS Rainbow, Maunalani and Jammers clubs teams.

Personal: Daughter of Brandon and Kaleiahihi Fermantez. Plans on majoring in psychology.
