High School: Forsythe was a student at North Idaho Christian School in Hayden, Idaho, graduating in 2010. She played two years for NICS before finishing her volleyball career at Lake City High School in Coeur d’Alene. She lettered her freshman and sophomore year at NICS, where she was a two-time team captain. Forsyth was selected as the Mountain Christian League (MCL) Most Valuable Player in 2006 and was named to the MCL All-League Team in 2007. While at Lake City, she earned All-5A Inland Empire League First Team honors. She was nominated for Idaho’s Athletic Hall of Fame Female Athlete of the Year award in 2010. She has played club volleyball for Club Idaho Northwest (2007-08), Spokane Splash (2008-09) and Sandpoint 18s (2010). Forsythe competed in the 2009 Junior Olympics in Miami, Fla., as part of the Spokane Splash National Team. She was honored in 2010 by the Association of Christian Schools International for her athletic accomplishments. She was also a member of the NICS student council and the National Society of High School Scholars for three years.
