2010: Utilized redshirt season, as she was battling a rare heart condition called atrioventricular nodal reentrant tachycardia (AVNRT). She endured three heart surgeries during the year to try and correct the disorder. The first two were unsuccessful, but the final surgery, performed in December by a specialist from the University of Pennsylvania, was a success and after a six-month rehabilitation, she was cleared to start training again.
2009: Kellerman was selected to the Big Sky All-Academic team for the second year in a row…She helped Eastern advance to the BSC Tournament after tallying 11 kills and 12 digs in the school’s final regular-season game against Sacramento State (Nov. 21) …She also had several strong outings during non-conference play, including a 10-kill, six-dig performance in the season-opener against Missouri State (Aug. 28) and 10 kills, nine digs and two aces against Pac-10 powerhouse Arizona (Sept. 5) …She matched her career-high in blocks with three in EWU’s sweep of Northern Colorado (Nov. 13) …Kellerman closed out her sophomore season with a solid 1.32 digs per set average, while hitting at a .141 clip.
2008: As a freshman, Kellerman teamed up her athletic prowess with her academic skills, as she was a member of the Big Sky Conference All-Academic team…On the court, Kellerman saw significant playing time in her rookie season…Her highest kill total of 2008 came in an exciting five-set road win over Gonzaga (Oct. 13), when she had 11 putaways…She also had six digs and a block in that contest…Kellerman hit .250 or better (with at least 15 attempts) on three different occasions…She had a season-high three blocks against Idaho (Sept. 6) and had a season-high 14 digs versus Idaho State (Oct. 23) …Her second double-digit dig performance came at Montana State (Nov. 1), where she had 10 pickups to help EWU capture a 3-1 victory over the Bobcats.
High School: Kellerman, a four-year varsity letterwinner out of La Conner (Wash.) High School, helped lead the Braves to back-to-back 2B state titles her junior and senior years…She was also part of runner-up teams her first two years at La Conner…She was named to at least one All-State, All-Area and All-League team throughout her preparatory career…Kellerman was honored as the 2B State Most Valuable Player, as well as the MVP of the Northwest League…Additionally, she saw success in basketball, as a three-year varsity starter. She also competed in track and field…Academically, she carried a 4.00 grade point average.
Personal: Daughter of Brian Kellerman and Darlene Azure…Her father, Brian, played basketball at the University of Idaho, where he was named the MVP of the Big Sky Conference, led the Vandals to a No. 6 ranking in the AP poll and helped Idaho advance to the 1982 NCAA Sweet 16…Kellerman is majoring in electrical engineering at Eastern.
