Eastern Washington Women's Volleyball has a rich history of seeing its players move on to careers in the professional ranks, either representing their countries or playing professionally on the beach or overseas. Kim Exner (1995-98) became the first player in EWU history to represent her country, playing on the Canadian National Team for two years following her graduation. Kim Maxwell (1996-99) followed in Exner's footsteps before Brittney Page (2002-06) joined Canada's national squad and becoming its captain.

A number of former Eagles have played professional beach volleyball as part of the AVP. Angie Hall (1997-00) played for six years while Janelle Ruen (1999-02) played for five years before joining current head coach Wade Benson's staff while he was at Auburn. Monica Lynch (1998-02) and Jessie Wright (2000-03) have also played professional beach volleyball.

Multiple EWU players have also played indoor volleyball professionally. Exner played for the Bell's Temps Club in Temse, Belgium, before playing both France and Germany. Lynch played for the Fighting Kangaroos Chemnitz Volleyball Club in Chemnitz, Germany, while Lizzy Mellor (2002-05) played for SSK Feldkirch in Feldkirch, Austra. While playinf for the Canadian National Team, Page played for Club Voleibol RH Las Palmas in Spain, Sollentuna Volleyball in Sweden and BarBar Ixelles in Brussels.
