Eagles complete Nashville Invite

Eastern Washington finished in 14th for the two-day tournament

NASHVILLE, Tenn. — The road trip to Nashville came to a close on Tuesday afternoon for Eastern Washington women's golf. EWU placed 14th on the team leaderboard, shooting 948. Eastern was five strokes behind Houston Christian (943) for 13th and nine strokes ahead of Belmont for 15th. 

On the individual leaderboard, Berkley Ledesma continued her freshman campaign with another solid tournament. Ledesma tied for 31st, shooting 230 (+13). The true freshman averaged a 3.0 score on par threes, tying for 10th among the field. 

Gabriella Ilardi shot 232 (+16) to tie for 41st on the individual leaderboard. 

Iowa won the team title after shooting 893 during the tournament. Washington State grabbed second with a 895 total score. CSU Fullerton's Louise Dahl won the individual title, shooting 216 (E). The Cougars Hannah Harrison posted a 217 (+1) to earn runner-up status.

Eastern Washington is on the courses next week, traveling for the Cowgirl Classic, hosted by Wyoming, in Maricopa, Ariz. The tournament runs from Wednesday (April 2) through Thursday (April 3) at the AK-Southern Dunes Golf Club.
