CHENEY, Wash. — The fall season is officially here for EWU Athletics! Eastern Washington soccer kicks off its 2026 campaign with a pair of home matches, beginning Wednesday, Aug. 12, before welcoming Bucknell to Cheney on Sunday, Aug. 16.
Soccer – vs Mount Royal (Wednesday, Aug. 12 at 5:00 p.m.); vs Bucknell (Sunday, Aug. 16 at 1:00 p.m.)
The Eagles kick off the 2026 season with a pair of home matches at the EWU Soccer Field in Cheney, Wash. Eastern opens against Mount Royal on Wednesday, Aug. 12 at 5 p.m., before hosting Bucknell on Sunday, Aug. 16 at 1 p.m.
Eastern welcomes 14 newcomers to the roster this season, including eight freshmen and six transfers.
Wednesday's season opener will mark the first-ever meeting between Eastern Washington and Mount Royal. The Eagles will also face a new opponent on Sunday, as their matchup against Bucknell will be the first meeting between the two programs.
