2017-2018 Track and Field: Outdoor: Placed 20th in the 5000 at the Spokane Memorial Meet. At the OSU High Performance Meet he place 143th in the 5000. Indoor: Redshirt

2016 Cross Country: Competed in all of the competitions for Eastern during the season. Ended up taking 48th at the Big Sky Championships with a finishing time of 26:30.7 in the 8,000-meter race. He also completed the Clash of the Inland Northwest in 19:49.1 during the 6,000-meter race.
2015-16 Track and Field: Outdoor: Named to the Big Sky All-Academic team. Competed in the Big Sky Outdoor Championships, finishing 16th in the 10,000. Previously set a personal best at the Mt. SAC Relays in the 10,000 with a time of 31:21.80. He earned a top-five at the OSU High Performance Meet, placing third in the 5,000, while setting a personal best mark of 14:59.85. Kitzan secured a top-10 finish at the Al Manuel in the 1,500, setting a personal record of 4:02.99 on his way to sixth place.
2015 Cross Country: Placed 33rd out of the field of 84 athletes in the Big Sky Cross Country Championships competing in the 8,000, and ran in the NCAA Division I West Region Championships in the 10,000. Kitzan’s highest finish came in the Inland Empire Championships, placing 17th in the 8,000.
2014-15 Track and Field: Outdoor: At the Pelluer Invite in Cheney, Wash., Kitzan ran the 1,500 with a winning time of 4:17.73. At the WSU Cougar Invitational, he ran the 5,000 in a time of 15:40.22 to place 15th. At the Sasquatch Carnival, Kitzan improved his 1,500 time to 4:03.93. Indoor: At the Idaho Vandal Indoor Invitational, Kitzan ran a time of 8:59.67 in the 3,000.
2014 Cross Country: Named to the Big Sky All-Academic team. During the Big Sky Cross Country Championships, he ran a time of 26:55.1 to place 67th overall. At the Indiana State University Pre-Nationals Invitational, Kitzan ran a time of 26:16.8 in the 8,000.
2013-14 Track and Field: Indoor: Redshirted. Outdoor: Redshirted.
2013 Cross Country: Ran the 10,000 at the NCAA Division I West Region Cross Country Championships with a time of 33:26.5. He also ran a 25:07 time in the 8,000 at the 2013 Inland Empire Championships to help Eastern earn third place overall.
High School: Kitzan placed 12th at the WIAA 3A Cross Country State Championships, running a time of 15:50.7 on the 5,000-meter course to help North Central High School claim the state title. He placed 33rd at the state meet during his junior year in another first-place effort by the Indians. In track, Kitzan’s best times came in the 800 with a 2:01.54 time, 1,600 with a 4:21.22 time and 3,200 with a time of 9:18.71. He lettered six times in cross country and track and field for North Central.
Personal: Undecided major. Born 6/27/95 in Spokane, Wash. His parents are Rudy and Nancy Kitzan. His brother, Dylan, is also a student at Eastern.
