2013-14 Track and Field: Indoor: Redshirted. Outdoor: Mahoney had another historical season for the Eagles, hitting four Big Sky Conference qualifying standards. At the Long Beach Invitational in Cerritos, Calif., she placed 27th overall in the 800 with a time of 2:12.40, which ranks her second all-time in the Eastern record books. At the Duane Hartman Invitational she won the 5,000 in a time of 16:45.92, ranking third all-time at Eastern. At the Mt. Sac Relays in Walnut, Calif., Mahoney placed third in the 3,000-meter steeplechase with a time of 10:17.34 to rank second all-time at Eastern. At the Big Sky Championships, she placed sixth in the 5,000 with a time of 18:32.77. She placed third in the steeplechase (11:07.24) and fourth in the 1,500 (4:39.57), booking her ticket to the NCAA Championships Preliminary Rounds meet in Fayetteville, Ark., in both events. At the regional meet, she broke her own school record in the 1,500 with a time of 4:24.05, placing her 25th overall. She ran the steeplechase in 10:20.21 to finish 15th. She was selected to the Big Sky spring all-academic team.

2013 Cross Country: Mahoney was Eastern’s top finisher at the Inland Empire Championships in Lewiston, Idaho, where she finished second overall with a time of 17:17 and helped her team to a first-place finish. She finished 40th at the Big Sky Championships with a time of 18:08 that placed her third for the Eagles. At the Clash of the Inland Northwest in Spokane, Wash., she was Eastern’s top finisher and placed third overall with a time of 14:31 on the 4,000-meter course.

2012-13: Indoor: Mahoney ran a time of 5:01.48 in the mile at the UW Invitational, ranking her fourth all-time at Eastern. She also ran 2:18.38 in the 800 at the Vandal Indoor to rank 10th in school history. At the BSC Indoor Championships, she placed 14th in the mile with a time of 5:11.61. She was selected to the winter Big Sky All-Academic team. Outdoor: Mahoney dominated the track in her first outdoor season with the Eagles, breaking two school records and cracking the top ten all-time lists in two other events. She crushed the previous school record of 11:02.29 in the steeplechase, first breaking it with a 10:36.16 effort at the Mt. Sac Relays. Mahoney broke it again at the BSC Outdoor Championships, when she earned all-conference honors with a second-place finish at 10:28.52. She improved on that time at the Division I West Preliminary Round, clocking 10:21.53. Mahoney also broke the school record in the 1,500 with her fourth-place-finish at the BSC Outdoor Championships, where she ran 4:25.79. She also made her mark in the record books at the Duane Hartman Invitational, where she ran times of 2:12.87 in the 800 (third all-time) and 17:14.91 in the 5,000 (sixth all-time).

2012 Cross Country: Redshirted.

2011-2012: Indoor: Mahoney qualified for the BSC Indoor Championships in the mile with a time of 5:04.41 at the UW Husky Classic, ranking her fourth all-time at Eastern. At the BSC Indoor Championships, she ran a time of 5:40.43 to place 15th.  Mahoney’s time of 10:26.63 in the 3,000 at the UW Indoor Preview put her seventh all-time at Eastern. She also ran the 800 at the Idaho Open, running 2:22.06 to place third overall. Mahoney ran a leg on Eastern's distance medley relay that placed eighth at the championships with a time of 13:31.34. Outdoor: Redshirted.

2011 Cross Country: Mahoney solidified herself as the No. 2 runner for Eastern, placing second on the team in each meet she ran in. She finished 36th at the Big Sky Championship with a time of 19:59.74.  Also had three top 25 finishes including 20th at the Clash of the Inland NW (15:21.4 4,000), 23rd at the Montana Invitational (19:42), and 21st at the Inland Empire XC Challenge (18:18.5).

High School: Mahoney experienced a stellar 2011 season at Richland High School. She finished in either first or second in every Columbia Basin Big Nine meet. In Richland’s seven other meets, Mahoney finished in at least the top three, including at the 4A district track meet. Her top-three streak was broken at the 4A State Championships, where she finished fourth in the 3,200 with a personal-best time of 10:58.11. She competed at the WIAA 4A State Cross Country Championships all four years, with her best finish coming her senior year, finishing with a time of 18:38.1 and placing 12th. Mahoney lettered 12 total times for the Richland Bombers (cross country, basketball, and track). Her best times came in the 800 (2:19.45), 1,500 (4:41.08), 1,600 (5:03.96), 3 mile XC (18:13) and 5,000 XC (18:38.1).
