2019-2020 Track and Field: Indoor: Named to the Big Sky All-Academic team. She finished third in the 60-meter hurdles at the Big Sky Conference Championships in Pocatello, Idaho, to earn All-Big Sky honors. Okemgbo had advanced to the finals with the second-fastest time in prelims of 8.61, shattering her previous best of 8.83 to rank second in EWU history. She matched that in the finals, and is just .10 from the 21-year-old school record of 8.51 set by Seville Broussard in 1999. Her career best of 8.26 in the 55-meter hurdles at the Candy Cane XII Open ranks third all-time at EWU. Her career-best time of 8.20 in the 60 meters was good enough for her to take 11th place at the Idaho Team Challenge. During the Candy Cane XII Open, Okemgbo placed third in the triple jump with a career-best mark of 36-2 3/4.

High School: Graduated from Hanford HS in 2019. Okemgbo competed at the State 4A Championships in all four of her years in high school, As a senior, she finished third in the 100-meter hurdles (14.82) and the 300-meter hurdles (44.47), and was also a part of the Falcon’s 4x100 relay that finished 15th. As a junior, Okemgbo placed fifth in the 100-meter hurdles and the fourth in the 300-meter hurdles at State. During her sophomore year, she finished second in the 100-meter hurdles with a time of 14.32 and placed third in the 300-meter hurdles with a personal-best time of 44.26 at the State 4A Championships. As a freshman, she placed 10th in the 100-meter hurdles at the State meet with a time of 15.77. Okemgbo was a part of the school’s 4x400 relay team which advanced to the State 4A Championships three different years. Okemgbo also had bests in high school in the 100 meters (12.99), 200 meters (26.99) and in the long jump (17-8 1/2).
