2020-21 | Freshman

Played in 18 games during her debut season with the Eagles, averaging 7.2 minutes per game off of the bench… Averaged 2.1 points per game with 38 total, tying her career-high six points three times… Notched at least two triples in three games, going 12-24 (50%) from three-point range… Was 13-28 (46.4%) overall from the field… Grabbed five rebounds, three assists and a block... Named to the Winter Big Sky All-Academic team.

Prior to Eastern Washington
Kallie Schaplow is another Washington product from Toledo, Wash., where she recently graduated from Toledo High School. Schaplow is a standout javelin thrower and will compete on the EWU track and field team as well.
 
At Toledo, she earned four letters both in basketball and track and field. She also earned two in cross country and one in soccer.
 
Schaplow earned plenty of accolades during her time at Toledo, including being named to the Central 2B Conference First Team in 2018, 2019 and 2020 and was named the league’s MVP as a senior. Schaplow also earned All-Area Basketball MVP honors from the Centralia Chronicle and was named to their All-Area Basketball Team in 2019 and 2020, along with being named to the Longview Daily News First Team.
 
She was named First Team All-State by the Associated Press during her final season with the Indians, and also landed on the WIGBCA All-State that year. As a senior, she was named to the Second Team All-State Tournament team and Scorebook Live named her first-team All-State. She participated in the All-State East/West game in 2018 and 2019.
 
Schaplow averaged 17 points, five rebounds, two assists, two steals and a block per game as a senior. She scored 1,417 points at Toledo over four seasons.
 
On the track, she was the 2019 2B State and District champion in the javelin and owns a personal best of 136-9. She earned a WIAA Sportsmanship Medallion in both track and basketball while at Toledo, served as a team captain and was an honor society president in 2019 and 2020, earning Central 2B honors for three-straight years.
 
Personal
Intends on majoring in health and physical education with plans to become a high school teacher and coach. Her dad, Don Schaplow, is an Eastern Washington graduate, and her brother Duke also attends EWU.
