2020-21 Track & Field: Outdoor: Advanced to the Big Sky Conference Championships where he competed in the pole vault and javelin throw. He finished 14th in the javelin with a throw of 146-10. Prior to the championships, he had a personal record in the javelin at the Whitworth Twilight Invitational of 164-6. He also competed in the decathlon at the Big Foot Multi-event Invitational with a PR of 5,073 points. Additionally he had PR’s at the Whitworth H.I.R. Invite (200 meters – 24.74) and the Oregon State PNW Team Clash (110-meter hurdles – 16.83).

2019-2020 Track and Field: Indoor: Named to the Big Sky All-Academic team. He competed in the pole vault at the Big Sky Conference Championships in Pocatello, Idaho, but no-heighted. He also had a time of 9.05 in the preliminaries of the 60-meter hurdles in the regular portion of the meet to rank 18th and miss the finals. At the Vandal Open and Lauren McCluskey Multi, Lane placed eighth in the heptathlon with a career high of 3,962 total points. His career best of 14-7 1/4 in the pole vault occurred at the Idaho Open and was enough for fifth place.
 
High School: During his senior season, Lane won the 110-meter hurdles with a personal-best time of 15.49 at the 2019 Kingco Championships. Lane placed second in the javelin with a new best of 168-1 at the same event. Lane also won the pole vault at the Interlake, Juanita @ Washington meet with a new personal best of 14-6.

Personal: Majoring in mechanical engineering.
