Outdoor: 100m, 11.22 | 200m, 22.58

2020-21 Track & Field: Named to the Big Sky All-Academic team (Winter). Outdoor: Competed in the Oregon State PNW Team Clash and the 2021 Al Manuel Invitational, where he competed in the 100 and 200 meters. His season best was 11.18 in the 100 meters and 23.31 in the 200 meters.

2019-2020 Track & Field: Indoor: Named to the Big Sky All-Academic team. He had a time of 22.71 in the preliminaries of the 60-meter hurdles at the Big Sky Conference Championships in Pocatello, Idaho, to rank 27th and miss the finals. At the Candy Cane XII Open, Punsalan’s career-best time of 6.61 in the 55-meter dash placed fourth.

2018-2019 Track & Field: Outdoor: At the Pelluer Open, Punsalan was a member of the winning 4x100-meter relay team that finished with a time of 43.21. He placed third in the 100 meters with a time of 11.27.
Indoor: Named to the Big Sky All-Academic team. At the MSU Dual Invite #2, he placed sixth in the 60-meter race with a time of 7.03, a new personal best. Punsalan finished second in the 55-meter race with a time of 6.61 at the Candy Cane XI.

2017-2018 Track & Field: Outdoor: He placed fourth in the 200 and eighth in the 100 at the Buc Scoring Meet. Set a personal best in the 200 with a time of 22.58 placing 13th at the OSU High Performance Meet. At the Tom Gage Classic he set a personal best in the 100 with a time of 11.22 placing fifth. Indoor: Set a personal best in the 60 with a time of 7.19 placing 16th at the WSU Open. At the Husky Classic he placed 29th in the 60 and the 200.

High School: Punsalan earned four varsity letters during his time in high school. His personal-best in the 100 meters was during his sophomore year finishing in 11.31. In the 200 meters, his personal-best came in his senior year with a 22.28 finish, placing 13th at the State Championship meet.

Personal: Majoring in exercise science. Son of Rowen and Aleli Punsalan.
