2020-2021 Track & Field
- Outdoor:
- Had a personal record at the Whitworth Essential Invite in the 5,000 meters with a time of 18:41.04
- Two PR’s at the Whitworth H.I.R. Invite in the 800 meters (2:34.59) and 1,500 meters (4:49.23)
- PR in the 3,000 meters at the Sam Adams Classic with a time of 11:25.27.
2020-2021 Cross Country
- Named to the Big Sky All-Academic team.
- Advanced to the 2021 Big Sky Winter Championships where she finished third best for Eastern in at 54th in the 5,000 meters with a time of 19:39.9.
2019-2020 Track & Field
2019 Cross Country
- Named to the Big Sky All-Academic team.
- Finished 74th at the Big Sky Conference Championships with a time of 21:45.7 on a 5,000-meter course in Greeley, Colo.
- Was EWU’s top finisher at the Santa Clara Bronco Invitational finishing 42nd and running a career-best time of 21:21.7 in the 6K.
- At the Clash of the Inland Northwest, she recorded a career-best time of 15:11.7 in the 4K while taking 25th.
- During the Charles Bowles Willlamette Invitational, Gaines was EWU’s second finisher with a career-best time of 18:33.0 in the 5K to place 16th.
- In addition, Gaines was EWU’s top finisher at the Washington State Cougar Classic by placing ninth in the 6K with a time of 21:48.2.
High School
- Graduated from Lewis & Clark HS in 2019.
- Was a three-year letter-winner in cross country for Lewis & Clark.
- In two of those three seasons she ran in the WIAA 4A Championships.
- Her senior season she placed 33rd in the 5,000 meters, which helped her team to a second-place finish in the state meet.
- Had a 37th place finish during her junior season when Lewis & Clark took home the 4A title in cross country.
- During her senior season of track and field, Gaines ran a personal-best time of 5:09.15 in the 1,600 meters at the District Qualifying Meet.
- Went on to finish 17th at the State 4A Championships in that event, and eighth in the 3,200 with a personal-best time of 10:58.97.
