TOP PLAYERS BY POSITION ANNOUNCED

Position-by-position winners of the "100 for 100" Fan Voting contest were announced at halftime of the EWU vs. Idaho State football game on Sept. 27, 2008. Nearly 700 ballots were cast with a total of more than 5,000 votes received. All 100 members of the "100 for 100" team received votes. Two awards were given to defensive backs because of a difference of just eight votes. And three additional awards were given to a kicker/punter, center and tight end based on votes received because they were included in other positions.

* First or Second Team NCAA Division II All-Americans from the years 1980-82 (1 player)
* First or Second Team NAIA All-Americans from the years 1954-79 (9 players)
* Little All-West Coast Selections from the 1950's and 60's (3 players)
* Additional Members of the Dick Zornes All-Time Team from the years 1963-67, 1971, 1979-98 (24 players)
* Members of the Red Reese All-Time Team from the years 1930-41, 1946 (10 players)
* At-Large Members voted onto the team by the Hall of Fame Selection Committee (12 players)
