2015 Cross Country: Named to the 2015-16 Big Sky All-Academic team. Gibson competed in four events as a freshman including the Division I Pre-Nationals in the 6,000, where she earned her best finish of the season, and the Big Sky Championships in the 5,000.

High School: During her high school career, Gibson ran varsity cross country all four years for Snohomish where she helped the team qualify for the 4A State Cross Country meet each of those years. She was also varsity track during three years of her high school career. Her personal best time in the 5,000 meters is 18:46 which she ran at the George Fox XC Classic in 2013. During her senior year at Snohomish, she qualified for the All Star East/West race in cross country. During track at Snohomish, Gibson ran personal bests in the 800 meters (2:32.71), the 1,600 meters (5:28.50), and the 3,200 meters (11:42.58). She has also been competing in USATF since she was nine years old.
Personal: Intended major is Physical Education or Athletic Training. Her parents are Jim and Darlene Gibson.
