Biography

2010-11 Track and Field:Indoor: Finished in first place at the Husky Classic andthe Big Sky Conference Championships in the 5,000. King alsograbbed the top spot in the 3,000 at the UW Indoor Preview. He wasselected for the Winter Big Sky Conference All-Academic team.

2010 Cross Country: King wasEastern’s top runner in the Big Sky Conference Championships,finishing fourth overall with a time of 22:10.14. He also ran atthe NCAA Pre-Nationals in Terre Haute, Indiana where he finished67th. He was named to the Fall Big Sky Conference All-Academicteam.

2009-10 Track and Field:Indoor: King placed fourth and eighth in the 3,000 and5,000, respectively, at the Big Sky Conference Championships. Hewas also selected for the Winter Big Sky Conference All-Academicteam. Outdoor: In the 5,000, King placed 14th at the BigSky Conference Championships. He qualified for the NCAA Division IWest Regional, in which he placed 40th in the 10,000. He wasselected for the Spring Big Sky Conference All-Academic team.

2009 Cross Country: King wasEastern’s top finisher during the season as he placed 18th atthe Big Sky Cross Country Conference Championships in Greely,Colo., where he had a time of 26:51.7 to help the Eagle men clincha fifth-place finish. He later ran in the NCAA West RegionalChampionships in Eugene, Ore., where he finished 120th with a timeof 33:38.29. He was also named to the Fall Big Sky ConferenceAll-Academic team and received EWU’s Scholar Athlete of theMonth award in September.

2008-09 Track and Field:Outdoor: King placed sixth in the 1,500 at the PelluerInvitational. He also placed 12th and 14th in the 10,000 and 5,000,respectively, at the Big Sky Conference Championships.

2008 Cross Country: King finished 15th at theBig Sky Conference Cross Country Championships with a time of24:34.1 on the 8,000-meter course. He went on to finish 157th atthe NCAA West Regionals with a time of 33:52.44 in the 10,000. Hewas named Big Sky All-Academic for cross country.
