2022-2023 Track & Field: Indoor: Represented EWU at the 2023 Big Sky Indoor Track & Field Championships and set a personal best in the weight throw where he placed 4
th with a throw of 63-7. Grimes also performed his best in the shot put (40-9) at the 2023 Lauren McCluskey Memorial where he placed 18
th.
2021-2022 Track & Field: Indoor: Represented EWU at the Big Sky Indoor Track and Field Championships where he set a personal best in the weight throw placing 19th with a distance of 50-5 1/2.
Outdoor: Competed at the Big Sky Conference Outdoor Track and Field Championships where set a personal best in the weight throw placing 11th with a distance of 179-1. Grimes also made a personal best in the discus throw at the Whitworth Twilight Meet placing fourth with a distance of 145-5.
2020-21 Track & Field: Named to the Big Sky All-Academic team (Winter).
Outdoor: Did not compete.
2019-2020 Track and Field: Indoor: Redshirted.
High School: As a senior at Southridge in 2019, Grimes finished first in the discus at the State 3A Championships with mark of 158-10. Grimes won the shot put at the MCC Championships with a personal best of 46-11 and also took first in the discus with a new best of 175-11.
Personal: Interested in majoring in environmental science at Eastern.
