2019-2020 Track and Field: Indoor: Redshirted.
CC of Spokane: He competed in 2018 and 2019 for CC of Spokane. As a sophomore, he placed eighth at the NWAC Championships in the high jump with a personal-best mark of 6-1 1/2. He also had a career best in the pole vault (15-4 3/4) in 2019 to place third at the Sam Adams Invitational.

HS: As a senior at Central Valley in 2016, Bennett was fourth in the pole vault at the 3A/4A Bi-District Championships with a height of 13-6, but he no-heighted at the regional level. He had a career-best vault of 14-6 at an earlier Greater Spokane League meet that season. He also no heighted at regionals in 2015, but had a 14-0 effort earlier in the season. Bennett jumped 13-6 as a sophomore to finish eighth at regionals, and as a freshman had a best of 11-0. He also had bests in high school in the long jump (19-5), triple jump (38-0) and high jump (5-10).
Personal: Majoring in marketing.
