2013-14 Track and Field: Indoor: Kimsey placed first in the mile at the Candy Cane VI, running a time of 4:29.67. Outdoor: Kimsey ran a season best in the 5,000 at the Long Beach Invitational, running a time of 15:08.60 to place 19th. He also placed third in the 1,500 (4:06.63) at the Pelluer Invitational and seventh in the 800 (2:03.81) at the MSU Open Outdoor Meet.

2013 Cross Country: Kimsey placed 29th at the Big Sky Championships, clocking a season-best time of 26:08 on the 8,000-meter course. He was the number two finisher for the Eagles at the NCAA West Regionals with a time of 31:25. He was also eighth at the Inland Empire Championships (24:21), 21st at the Clash of the Inland Northwest (19:22) and 120th at the Notre Dame Invitational (26:01.5).

High School: Kimsey was a competitor at the WIAA 4A State Cross Country Championships in each of his four seasons at Ferris High School. He finished ninth as a senior (15:35.2), fifth as a junior (15:37.6), 23rd as a sophomore (15:59) and 46th as a freshman (16:26). In track, Kimsey’s best times came in the 800 (1:58.42), 1,600 (4:19.32) and 3,000 (9:24.99).
