EWU Football: 2013: Was named to the Big Sky Conference All-Academic team. Played in 11 games as a back up wide receiver, catching five passes for 79 yards and a touchdown. He had three grabs for 66 yards and a 47-yard touchdown catch versus Oregon State (8/31/13) in EWU’s stunning 49-46 victory over the 25th-ranked Beavers. His score gave EWU a 43-39 lead with 10:30 to play. 2014: Listed as a starter at wide receiver on the preseason depth chart and could return punts. In three spring scrimmages he caught eight passes for 92 yards and two touchdowns.
High School: In his junior season he earned honorable mention All-NWC honors in basketball and the track and field team won the state championship. Individually, he finished second at state in the 100 meters (11.07) and 200 meters (22.05), and Lynden’s 4x400 relay team won the state title. In his senior season, he was the runner-up in the 100 (11.49) and 400 (49.63), and placed fourth in the 200 (22.94). His career-best times were 10.99 in the 100, 22.04 in the 200 and 49.49 in the 400.
Personal: Interdisciplinary studies major. Born in Renton, Wash. His parents are Ed and Bonnie Bomber. His mother was an All-American gymnast at Seattle Pacific University. He has one older brother, Brady, who played basketball at St.Martin’s University.
