Hahn joins Eastern after two years at UMass Lowell, where he served as assistant track and cross country coach. With the River Hawks, he directed training for men's middle-distance athletes, assisted with all other distance groups, coordinated recruiting, and helped manage major competitions, including the NCAA Indoor Championships and the Northeast Cross Country Regional.
Before his time at UMass Lowell, Hahn spent a year and a half at Binghamton University as an assistant coach, leading recruiting efforts, supporting student-athlete academics, and ensuring NCAA compliance. He also served as a volunteer assistant coach at Purdue University, working with both the men's and women's programs while developing national recruiting pipelines.
Hahn began his coaching career at the University of Tennessee at Martin as a graduate assistant coach while completing his master's degree in Family and Consumer Sciences with a concentration in Nutrition. He earned his bachelor's degree in Exercise Science from Eastern Illinois University and holds dual associate degrees in Arts and Science from Rend Lake College.
With experience across several Division I programs and a proven ability to recruit and develop talent, Hahn brings a wealth of knowledge to Cheney. He received his Bachelors in Science from Eastern Illinois University and his master in Family and Consumer Sciences from the University of Tennessee at Martin.
