2016-17 Track and Field: Outdoor: Earned first in the 1,500-meter at the 45th Pelluer Invitational with a time of 3:58.29. Earned a personal-best at the Mt. SAC Relays with a time of 3:53.09 in the same event. During the Big Sky Championships, he took 14th in the event with a time of 3:59.21. Indoor: Took first in the 3,000-meter at the Vandal Indoor Invitational with a time of 9:00.06, a personal-best.
High School: Johnsen was an eight-time letter winner at Sehome HS. Competed in the WIAA 2A State Championships. He has personal bests in the 800 with a time of 2:01.75, 1,600 with a time of 4:15.95, and 3,200 with a time of 9:21.99.
Personal: Son of Cris and Erin Johnsen … Intends to major in marketing.
