2022-2023 Track & Field
- Indoor:
- Big Sky All-Academic Team (Winter).
- Represented EWU at the 2023 Big Sky Indoor Track & Field Championships.
- Made a personal best at the 2023 Lauren McCluskey Memorial in the weight throw (44-11 ¾) and placed 14th.
- Set a personal best in the shot put at the Whitworth Invitational with a throw of 49-9 placing 2nd.
- Outdoor:
- Competed at the 2023 Big Sky Conference Outdoor Track Meeting.
- At the 2023 Buc Scoring Invite he set two personal bests, in the discus throw (124-6, 14th) and in the hammer throw (166-8, 3rd).
2021-2022 Track & Field
- Indoor:
- Competed at the Big Sky Indoor Track and Field Championships.
- At the Idaho Team Challenge he set a personal best in the weight throw where he placed 9th with a distance of 44-3 1/4.
- Outdoor:
- Competed at the Big Sky Conference Outdoor Track and Field Championships.
- Recorded a personal best at the CWU Wildcat Invitational in the hammer throw where he placed 7th with a distance of 160-0.
2020-2021 Track & Field
- Named to the Big Sky All-Academic team (Winter).
- Outdoor:
- Had three career bests in his first season as an Eagle.
- At the Whitworth Twilight in the shot put (46-11 1/2).
- The WAR 14 Invitational in the hammer (129-8).
- The Whitworth Essential Invite in the discus, with a mark of 122-0.
High School
- Graduated from West Valley HS in 2020.
- Finished 4th in the shot put at the WIAA State 2A Championships in 2019 with a throw of 51-1 1/4.
- Two weeks earlier he had a personal-record throw of 51-10 3/4 in winning the Great Northern League title, then was the top finisher at the District 5/6/7 Regional Qualifier.
- Had his PR in the discus at the GNL meet with a throw of 136-1 to finish 3rd.
- As a sophomore in 2018, he placed 11th at State in the shot put with a throw of 48-6 after winning the GNL title and finishing as the District 5/6/7 runner-up.
- Lettered a total of three years in track and field (not including 2020).
- Was coached in high school by Victor Wallace.
Personal
- Interested in majoring in political science and interdisciplinary studies at EWU, with hopes of becoming a judge.
- Born 9/14/01 in Kennewick, Wash.
- Parents are Matt and Sabrena Miller.
- Will be a first generation member of his family to attend college.
- Nickname is “Dan the Man.”
