High School: Sanchez is a 2014 graduate of Kennewick High School in Kennewick, Wash., where he competed in both cross country and track and field, lettering all four years in track and cross country. In XC, Sanchez was named second team all-conference following his junior year, and in his senior year he was named first team all-conference. Sanchez was a two-time WIAA 3A XC State Championship competitor, and his best state placing of 50th came during his senior season.
Personal: Intends to major in exercise science. Born 3/19/96 in Kennewick, Wash., his parents are Lucio and Louisa Sanchez.
