- Set a personal best in the hammer throw at the Oregon State High Performance where he placed 14th with a throw of 42.20m (138 ft. 5 in.)

- At the Whitworth Invitational he set a personal best in the weight throw where he placed 10th with a distance of 13.87m (45 ft. 6¼ in.)
- Made two personal bests at the Al Manuel Invitational.
- In the discus throw he placed 8th with a distance of 43.45m (142 ft. 7 in.)
- In the hammer throw he threw his farthest distance of 33.49m (109 ft. 10 in.) placing 13th.
