High School: Craig was a four-year letterwinner in football, basketball, and track at Bridgeport High School. He qualified for both the 300-meter and 110-meter hurdles at the WIAA 2B State Championships three years in a row. He placed second in both of those events and fifth in the 200 his senior year at the state championships. His best marks came in the 100 (11.74), 200 (22.94), 400 (52.82), 110-meter hurdles (15.31), and 300-meter hurdles (40.36).
