2012-13: Indoor:Jaenicke ran her personal-best time of 11:02.54 in the 3,000 at theVandal Collegiate, placing 20th overall. Outdoor:Competing in her first outdoor season for the Eagles,Jaenicke’s best time in the 1,500 came at the All-Idaho Cup,where she ran 5:18.73. She also competed in the 5,000, with herbest time of 19:40.51 coming in a 17th-place-finish at the WAR VI.Jaenicke was selected to the winter and spring Big Sky All-Academicteams.

2012 Cross Country: Competingfor the first time since 2011 indoor track season, Jaenickereturned strong for the Eagles, placing 65th at the Big SkyChampionships with a time of 20:07.4 (fourth for Eastern). She was84th at the Inland Empire Classic, clocking a time of 20:48. Shealso placed 58th at the Sundodger Invitational (24:58.9) and 52ndat the Clash of the Inland Northwest (16:58.2 4,000). She was namedto the fall Big Sky All-Academic team.

2011 Cross Country:Redshirted.

2010-11: Indoor:Jaenicke ran the mile in 5:40.04 at the Jackson Invitational,placing 20th. At the UW Indoor Preview, she placed 35th in the3,000 with an indoor-best time of 11:05.85. She ran the 1,600 meterleg on the distance medley relay team at the BSC IndoorChampionships that placed eighth with a time of 12:24.65.

2010 Cross Country: Jaenickewas as consistent as they came, running four of her five racesunder 20 minutes. At the Big Sky Conference Championships, Jaenickefinished 51st with a time of 17:46.98 in the 4,000. She wasselected for the Fall Big Sky Conference All-Academic team.

High School: Jaenickequalified for the State 4A Cross Country Championships three timeswhile in high school. Her best state performance came during hersenior year, when she placed 24th in the 5,000. Jaenicke ran herfastest time in the 800 during her junior year, running 2:37.04.She also ran her best times in the 1,600 (5:27.82) and the 3,200(11:38.68) that season. In 2009, Jaenicke led her squad as teamcaptain and was voted most valuable athlete for cross country atThomas Jefferson High School. She was also selected to theWashington State Cross Country Association (WSCCA) All-State Teamin 2009. Jaenicke excelled in the classroom, graduating fromJefferson High School with a 3.5 GPA.

Personal: Elementary Educationmajor. Born 7/20/92 in Federal Way, Wash. Parents are Roger andMary Jaenicke. She also has a relative, Gordon Hill, who graduatedfrom Eastern.
