Brandon Morrison is in his fifth season with the Eagles after spending the last several years in various roles for the women's basketball program at UNLV.
Morrison aided in recruiting new players to a roster in transition. In his fourth season, graduate transfer Peyton Howard led the team in points (435) and assists (104), while Freshman of the Year Kourtney Grossman ranked second in points (316) and first in rebounds (314), setting a new Freshman record.
Morrison continued the coaching excellence in his third season at Eastern, helping the team improve to 29 wins in the '23-'24 season. The team recorded 311 steals, ranking first in the Big Sky, and fifth on the all-time program list. The Eagles also ranked second in the Big Sky with 8.89 steals per game. Morrison coached Eastern to the second fewest turnovers (404) in program history, and the fewest turnovers per game (11.5) in program history for the second season in a row.
Morrison began his second season at Eastern and helped improve the team's win total from nine to 19 games between the '21-'22 and '22-'23 seasons. The team record 269 steals in the season, ranking ninth on the all-time program list. The Eagles led the the Big Sky with 9.0 steals per game. Through Morrison's coaching, Eastern recorded the fewest turnovers (370) committed and fewest turnovers per game (12.3) in program history.

Morrison started at UNLV and served as a scout team coordinator from 2011-16 before moving into the video coordinator role. In 2017, he was promoted to assistant coach and served in that role for three seasons.

He was in charge of scouting reports and film breakdown while also having a hand in recruiting. Morrison worked in player development for perimeter and post play, while also assisting in offensive play calling while running various UNLV camps. Morrison also coached the 2018 Mountain West 6
th Player of the Year, the 2017 and 2019 MWC Defensive Player of the Year, three All-Mountain West team selections and two All-Mountain West Defensive Team selections during his time with the Rebels. UNLV also won a regular season championship in 2017.

Morrison has also served as an advanced scout for the WNBA Los Angeles Sparks where he created scouting reports and live-scouted WNBA games.

He graduated with his Bachelor's in kinesiology in 2016 from UNLV and went on to earn his Master's in Sport Administration from the University of Miami in 2018.
