Biography
2009-10: Had the second-best stroke average onthe team at 83.4. Named to the Big Sky All-Academic team. Shot a 78in the second and third rounds of the Bulldog/Eagle Challenge,which marked the lowest rounds of the year for the freshman. Wasthe top performer for the Eagles at the Big Sky ConferenceChampionships, as she carded a three-round total of 246(80-85-81).
High School: Graduated from Chaparral HS in2009. Stapleton finished in the top 15 at the Arizona 4A StateTournament in each of her four years at CHS. In doing so, shehelped the team finish third her final three years with the squadafter qualifying for state as an individual her freshman campaign.Also, she placed in the top six at the Desert Sky Region tournamentall four years, claiming the title in 2006 as a sophomore with atwo-round score of 151 (76-75). Stapleton also played at the JuniorWorld Championships in July 2008 as one of 124 qualifiers from 25different countries. She had a 3.80 grade point average in highschool.
