Redshirted the year after suffering an elbow injury before the start of fall tournaments.
2013-14
Played in 21 matches with EWU ... Played all of her matches in the No. 1 singles spot with a 10-11 record, including an 6-4 mark in Big Sky play ... Teamed up with Erin Blessing to form Eastern's No. 1 doubles pairing, finishing the year with a 8-7 overall record and a 6-4 mark in league matches.Â
High School: Hedberg was tabbed as a four-star recruit according to tennisrecuriting.net, and was among the top 40 players in the Southwest region as a senior in high school … She achieved her highest junior ranking of 144 in 2010 after tallying a 22-29 overall record in national tournaments … She recorded two wins over five-star recruits and six wins against other four-star athletes … Throughout her preparatory career, Hedberg earned an outstanding 186-10 overall record in singles play … She captured the Pacific View League singles title for four-consecutive years, and was named the PVL Player of the Year in 2008, 2009 and 2010 … She is also a four-time Ventura County Star first-team selection … After dropping only one match during her senior season and taking home the PVL singles crown for the fourth year in a row, Hedberg earned a bid to the prestigious California Interscholastic Federation Southern Section Championships … She was one of only 16 elite players to qualify for the event.
