Biography

2010-11: Member of the Big Sky All-Academic team. Played in 22 of Eastern’s 23 matches during the 2011 season, and worked her way up from EWU’s No. 5/6 to playing No. 1 in the final six matches of the year. She posted four victories during her junior campaign, including a 6-3, 6-3 win over Big Sky foe Idaho State. She played a very competitive match at No. 3 singles versus Montana State, but fell in the match-breaker to MSU’s Wena Tsan. Diamanti also played No. 1 doubles for most of the season with partner Judy Liening. The duo posted three wins against Whitman, Lewis-Clark State and Idaho State.

At CSU-Bakersfield (2008-10): Diamanti played two seasons for the Roadrunners, primarily at the No. 1 singles position. During the 2010 season, she compiled an overall singles record of 5-14, while going 4-13 in doubles play.

High School: Before coming to the United States, Diamanti ranked No. 3 among U18 players in Greece. Played and traveled in tournaments throughout Germany and Spain, including a summer at the Bruguera Academy in Barcelona, Spain.

Personal: Born in Athlens, Greece. Daughter of Christos Diamantis and Maria Koliousi. Majoring in communication studies.
