2020-21 Track & Field: Outdoor: Named to the Big Sky All-Academic team. Advanced to the Big Sky Conference Championships for the 400 meters where she ran in the preliminary round and had a personal record time of 58.83. She also ran on the 4x400 relay team, which finished eighth overall to score one point for the team. Madura had a PR in the 100 meters at the Al Manuel Invitational (12.69), and a PR in the 200 meters at the Whitworth H.I.R. Invite (25.93).
High School: Graduated from Mountain View HS in 2020. She had personal records of 13.34 in the 100 meters, 27.58 in the 200 and 1:05.74 in the 400 as a junior in 2019. She helped her school’s 4x100 relay team advance to the WIAA State 3A Championships in 2019. Coached in high school by Robert Procive. She lettered a total of three times in track and field in high school, and was also an honor student all four years and a MVHS Scholar Athlete three years.
Personal: Interested in majoring in nursing at EWU and hopes to go into pediatrics. Born 8/16/02 in Vancouver, Wash. Parents are Matthew and Mary Madura. Nickname is “Em.”
