2017-18 Track and Field: Outdoor: Set a personal best in the 5000 with a time of 18:45.34 at the Buc Scoring Meet. At the Pelluer Invitational she set a personal best in the 1500 with a time of 4:52.33 placing fourth. At the Spokane Memorial Meet she set a personal record in the 800 with a time of 2:12.04 placing first. At the Big Sky Track and Field Championships she placed 19th in the 800. Indoor: Set a personal best in the mile with a time of 5:12.40 at the Idaho Duals and placed seventh. At the Big Sky Indoor Track and Field Championships she placed 21st in the mile and was a part of the distance medley relay that placed 10th.
2017 Cross Country: Named to the Big Sky All-Academic team. Against Gonzaga she was 10th with a personal-best time of 15:22.8 in the 4,000-meter run. With a time of 19.15.5 she set her personal best in the 3.1 mile run against Montana State. She set her best in the 5,000-meter run with a 19:12.8 finish at the Big Sky Championships. Her best in the 6,000 meters was at the NCAA Division I West Region Cross Country Champions with a time of 22:27.7.
High School: Tyrrell's personal best time in the 5,000-meter event in cross-country was during her senior year with a time of 19:27.5, earning her 15th overall at the 2A WIAA State XC Meet. She also raced in the state meet for three years in high school and placed 28th during her junior year and 39th in her freshman year.
In track and field, Tyrrel finished in fifth place at the WIAA 2A State Championship Meet in two events during her junior year. One was in the 800 with a 2:21.98 finishing time along with the 1,600 meters with a personal record time of 5:13.50. In her last year of high school, she raced in the 4x400 relay and earned third in the state.
She was CWAC All-League in cross country for all four years of high school along with three years in track and field. She was named the women's athlete of the year at Selah High School in 2017.
Personal: Daughter of Bob and Megan Tyrrell. Major undecided, but is considering child development. Has a 3.84 gpa through her first year at Eastern.
