Ana was hired as the Assistant Equipment Manager in February of 2026.
Prior to working at Eastern, Ana spent time in Florida working for several organizations. Ana recently worked for the Hula Bowl as a communications intern since January 2025. Ana helped draft press releases, newsletters, internal commutations and supported event planning. She helped run football practices with the the equipment manager on game day. Ana also provided creative support for the social media and content creation for the communications team.
Ana has experience in an athletics department as well, working at Florida International Univerity as a gameday operations assistant in 2025. As an operations assistant, Ana worked with campus departments, coaches and referees to plan and coordinate logistics for all game day events and activities. Ana was also provided, supervised and coordinated staff during home athletics events. Ana started at FIU in January of 2023 as a football equipment assistant where she inspected and repaired damaged equipment, while ensuring proper use of all equipment. She maintained inventory and storage of uniforms, along with database system for managing the distribution of equipment to student-athletes.
Ana also gathered experience in professional sports, working for the Miami Marlins as a foundation assistant in 2024. Her role with the Marlins included teaching baseball fundamentals to youth players, between T-ball and the high school level. Ana helped cultivate community ties by engaging with residents, local leaders, schools, media and civic groups. She helped maintain equipment and safe environment for players as well.
In August of 2025, Ana graduated from FIU with her Bachelor of Arts degree in Sports Management.
